Experienced and Compassionate
Morgan Shepherd, Lead Trainer
Morgan has over 20 years of experience training and handling dogs. She began her journey training Search and Rescue (SAR) German Shepherds, and has spent decades working and volunteering with animal rescue and welfare groups. With her extensive experience with behaviorally-challenged cases, and those needing rehabilitation from significant trauma and abuse, Morgan brings with her decades of expertise and practical, hands-on experience.

Lead Canine Trainer
Jack the German Shepherd is Morgan's training partner and lead canine trainer. He has worked with hundreds of dogs to help them overcome reactivity, work through socialization issues, overcome leash reactivity, and learn to be a part of the Pack.
A rescue dog himself who overcame trauma and behavior struggles of his own, Jack is a friend to all dogs and is the heart of Balanced Solutions Dog Training.
Morgan and the Pack
Morgan has her own pack of rescue dogs, including her training partner, Jack the German Shepherd, who was rescued from a high-kill shelter in California. In her spare time, she continues to volunteer with non-profits rescuing dogs from the meat trade. Morgan’s commitment is to understanding each and every dog as an individual, and to helping dogs and their people have deeper, more meaningful relationships through training, education, and compassion.
